Special thanks goes to Inactive Prowler Bruce Hamilton, member #87. At our 60th Anniversary Picnic held in September 2007, Bruce presented to the club our club minutes from the years 1948 through 1951. Our living Charter Members have told us they believe minutes were not taken at meetings during our first year of 1947. Previously, we had in our possession club minutes dating back only to 1952. Included were minutes of the Russetta Timing Association meetings from 1948, (the Prowlers were members of the RTA back in the early days). It has been a real hoot reading the early minutes at our regular meetings after the previous meeting's minutes are read. Bruce is a true friend of the Prowlers and is interested in the continued success of the club. Oh, by the way, did I mention Bruce paid for the band at the picnic?
