Prowlers Car Club  » History » Prowlers in 2007

Heres some present day shots of whats going on with the clubs old and present members.

These pictures were supplied by present member Bob Smith of old "Roll Over" Vinta's newest ride.  Johnny Vinta just completed this '31 Model A Ford Vicky this year.

Beautiful interior !

Great look'n ride as usual !

Jag rearend looks really great sit'n underneath this ride.  Johnny picked up the rearend from member Ken Polesky.  This is the way the club works to help each other get our rides on the street.  Wasn't free but sometimes parts are hard to find and you definitely won't find them for the price the members sell them to each other for.  Thats what hot rod'ns all about.

Just in case you were wondering what the "Roll Over" was about here's the answer....  Johnny rolled his '25 T Roadster at the first Prowler picnic in 1969 at Otay Mesa and the name has just stuck.  If you'd like to see Johns other hot rods look in the '60's history.

This is the July 2007 issue of Street Rodder were out of no where Les Hilger's '32 Ford Roadster showed up.  The article was about the Petersen Automotive Museum celebrating a week long bash for the '32's called Deuce Week.

This was a great article by Street Rodder.  Here's a  shot of Les's '32 on the front page of the article.

It's always great to see one of the brothers cars show up in the magazines.  Congrats Les !
