Andy Bekech -1932 Ford Victoria
Club Historian, Forever
Club Secretary 2008,09
Andy has an all steel 1932 Victoria that was originally owned and built in 1950 by Bob Stewart. He is the son of Ed Stewart, the originator of the "Dago" dropped front axel. The top was chopped in 1950 by Joaquin Arnett of the "Bean Bandits" fame. The car ran at the El Mirage dry lakes in 1952, turning in 127.5 MPH under the banner of the Russeta Timing Association (R.T.A.).

It was featured in the Hop UP and Car Craft magazines, the latter feature was on the front cover, April 1959.
Andy has owned the car since 1956 and rebuilt it twice since then, once in 1957 as most recently in 1980. The Vicky has been a Prowler member car since 1950 and still gets the looks when Andy takes her out.
He also owned this beautiful '40 Ford convertible pictured here until early 2007 which he considered his roadster.
As a retired fire fighter he of course had to paint both cars GM Spectra Red. Andy has another car in the works, but you don't have to guess what color it will be. Andy wishes you all Safe Cruising!
