Want to Join the Prowlers?

The Prowler Car Club always welcomes hot rodders to visit us and possibly join us to carry on the tradition. The Prowler Car Club is one of the oldest hot rod clubs in the country, (we have met continuously since 1947). The maximum number of members in the club at any time is 30.

The Prowlers choose members with two main criteria. First, the person must be a friendly, positive person who is knowledgeable and committed to hot rodding. Second, the person must have a 1948 or older Ford hot rod. The hot rod must be in premium condition with at least 3 significant improvements made to it from stock condition. It must be finished to a degree that would reflect positively on the Prowlers Car Club. In general, the car must be painted, be upholstered and running in a safe manner. Of course, this is the minimum only. Most of the Prowler members' cars are hand-built hot rods that are driven on the street regularly.

Joining the Prowlers is not a fast process nor is it just joining a club - it's more a life style. We want to get to know you before you join. If you wish to attend a meeting of the Prowlers, contact the club - see "contact us" above. Then come to the next Prowlers Car Club meeting. We meet in El Cajon, CA at 975 Greenfield Drive on the first and third Thursdays of each month. The meeting starts at 7:00.
