Thanks to Paul Bos of Buck Knives

Our good friend and fellow Hot Rodder Paul Bos, is a long time employee of "Buck Knives" out of Idaho. He has produced many, one of a kind, Buck Knives for our Prowler events. Well, Paul has come through once again for our 60th year celebration. We can not thank Paul enough for his true generosity ! The knife Paul is holding is the one that he did for the club for our 50th anniversary. You'll see it in better detail below.

This wild "Bowie" style 13" custom "Buck" knife has been created by Paul, for the Prowlers 60 years in hot rodding! With the glass top walnut case it makes it a fantastic tribute to the San Diego Prowlers. The blade has been laser engraved with the clubs name and years that the club has been together 1947- 2007

Great shot with the case open

Closer shot of the laser engraving on the blade.

This beautiful "Buck" knife was made by Paul for our 50th anniversary in 1997. The knife is double sided and has all the members names engraved on the blade. Paul also cut out the clubs logo on the blade. The handle has the clubs name also engraved n the handle.
Better shot of the plaque that was on the 50th anniversary knife rack.

Amazing craftmanship on the blade. All the active members names for that year were engraved on the blade.

And finally a great shot of the handle.

This beauty was won by member Roger Prafke #143 in1995. Knife came in this great walnut display case. Roger donated the knife back to the club so it could be displayed and appreciated. Thanks Roger !

Heres a great shot of Roger when he won the knife.

In 1985 this knife was presented to member Andy Bekech #32/2 for "Prowlers Choice". Andy donated the knife back to the club to remain in the historical archives of the club. Thank Andy.

Here are a couple more shots of this knife. Below is the letter that came with this knife from Buck Knives.
